Class of 2025 - Juniors

2nd Annual Hopewell Valley 5K: Saturday March 16th

Have you signed up for the Lucky Bulldog Dash yet? Don't delay, registration prices go up on February 24th. Now's the time to sign up and join in the fun. If you register now you will also be guaranteed a t-shirt to commemorate the event.

This year’s race will kick off at CHS, run down Dublin Road and back for an Irish adventure to find the ultimate Pot o’Gold at the finish line in front of Timberlane Middle School.

Winners in age group categories will walk away with a chocolate prize, and prizes will be awarded for the best team and individual St. Patrick’s theme costumes. There will also be a special prize for anyone who can catch the Leprechaun.

This is a great course to kick off your running season or just get outside with the community and beat those winter blues – maybe do a little Irish jig along the way. We can’t wait to see you there.

Please see the flyer below for details. Please encourage your kids, friends and neighbors to run or walk the course with us. For those of you in the running community, this event is USATF sanctioned and available for 500 Grand Prix points.

We are still looking for race sponsors. Please email Lynne Nau if you would like to be a sponsor or would like to connect the event organizers with potential sponsors.

Green Tip: How to Dispose of Household Hazardous Waste

Household hazardous waste is any unwanted household product labeled as flammable, toxic, corrosive, or reactive, for example, aerosol cans, anti-freeze, fertilizers, fluorescent and CFL bulbs, motor oil, paint supplies, and pesticides.

Improper disposal of these products can harm the environment in many ways and poses a risk to workers in the waste collection business if placed in the trash.

Set aside household hazardous waste items and take them to one of the free hazardous waste collections in Mercer County (2024 dates, scroll down for materials accepted)
