News
The CHS PTO is Seeking a Secretary (Attention 2026 & 2027 Parents)

If you are interested in supporting the CHS PTO, we are in need of a secretary. This executive board position requires attendance at monthly meetings which are scheduled at 9am on the third Wednesday of each month from September to May, in person at CHS. We do not meet in December.

The secretary takes notes during the meeting, offers them for approval at the following meeting and stores the approved minutes on the CHS PTO Google drive. In addition to the monthly meetings, there are occasional executive board responsibilities which include attention to email matters or a board meeting (often held on zoom).

The ideal candidate will be able to step into the position in January 2024 and complete this school year with the intention of remaining through 2024-2025.  If you have availability, but can only commit to the remainder of this school year, please let us know.  Please email Kerry Nulman & Becky Golian to express your interest. Thanks for considering this important position.

Please Support the PTO Annual Appeal

The CHS PTO depends on your generosity to be fully funded and operational. A few of the routine operations of the PTO include: communications to parents (Dog Byte newsletter and intermittent emails), scholarships for seniors each spring and mini grants to support enrichment initiatives at CHS. We also function as the administrative framework for each grade level to host events and fundraising efforts.

If you donated to the Annual Appeal earlier in the school year, please accept our thanks. We have been able to award two mini grants since September!

Please consider a donation to the CHS PTO Annual Appeal before the end of the calendar year. Use THIS LINK if you choose to make a donation and remember to submit for corporate matching, if available from your employer.

The CHS PTO is a 501c3 organization and all donations are tax deductible. Please contact the PTO Treasurer, Darlene Walsh, with any questions.
