Join Our Award Winning Choir Program!

If your student would like to choose choir as an elective, encourage action NOW before course selection ends on April 14th! Time is of the essence because this is the only Performing Arts course with an audition component. Students should email Randy White with questions, or simply sign up for the desired choir course and Mr. White will contact students directly via email.

The Choir Program at CHS is a tiered offering for all experience levels and interests. Auditions are only required for two of the four choirs, so it is possible to sing without any audition. Historically, the choir program offers foreign and domestic travel, while still showcasing local performance opportunities. Students join a family of performers and friends from all grades at CHS.

Foreign Exchange Student Program: Become a Host Family for the 2023-24 Academic Year!

As you may have heard, our school opened its doors to a Spanish foreign exchange student for the school year for a cultural and academic exchange. A local family welcomed him into their home, and we are so very thankful to both the school and this wonderful family for their kindness and coordination.

The experience is proving a success! New friendships are forming and this exchange is enriching our cultures, our minds, and our hearts.

We are placing new students NOW for the next academic year. If you are interested in hosting and learning how it works, please contact Sonia Natalias (CHS parent and former exchange student) on behalf of Global College.

Green Tip: Mercer County Bike Drive April 8th

Mercer County and the Park Commission will host their third annual Bike Drive on Saturday, April 8. The County takes your old bikes -- no matter the condition -- and gives them to the Boys& Girls Clubs of Mercer County Bike Exchange, a volunteer-run organization that repairs donated bikes and sells them at modest prices at its Ewing location at Capitol Plaza, with proceeds benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs directly. Donations are tax-deductible.

To donate a bike, drop it off on Saturday, April 8, between 12 noon and 4 p.m. at one of two locations: Ranger Headquarters at Mercer County Park in West Windsor, or the Historic Hunt House at 197 Blackwell Road in Hopewell Township. The rain date is April 15. More information in the Mercer Monthly March 2023.
